Subject: Meanwhile, in the Red Sea...
BP has suspended operations and the Houthis keep sending $2,000 drones...that the US Navy dutifully shoots down with $2,000,000 missiles.
This guy says it well: “The cost offset is not on our side,” said one DOD official.
No kidding, guy.

As American warships rack up kills against Houthi drones and missiles in the Red Sea, Pentagon officials are increasingly alarmed not just at the threat to U.S. naval forces and international shipping — but at the growing cost of keeping them safe.
The solution to this is actually quite simple, and cost effective: Send over an alpha strike of F-16's and F-18's - planes on the cheaper end of the operation cost scale, as opposed to F-35's - and drop a whole lot of dumb ordinance on Houthi positions. They can't launch any more drones if there are no drones to launch.
