New York Attorney General Letitia James was indicted by a grand jury in Virginia after evidence presented by a prosecutor hand-picked by President Donald Trump.

Trump had recently called for criminal charges to be filed against James.

Interim U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia Lindsey Halligan, who obtained the indictment, recently obtained a grand jury indictment against another long-time Trump antagonist, former FBI Director James Comey.
