Did you not watch that riotous invasion unfold before your eyes when it occurred on Jan 6, 2021? I happened to be home with my husband that day. He'd had cataract surgery the day before and we'd seen the eye doctor on the 6th for his post-op checkup. After we got home we turned on TV. And Trump's rally was getting a lot of real-time news coverage. So we watched the latter speakers, and then the march down to the Capitol Building, and then......and then.....watched in horror as these Trump supporters knocked down the barriers, climbed up wherever they could get a foothold/handhold and then were followed by hordes of screaming people, then forced their way into the building, punching and knocking down the Capitol police who were trying to protect the building......and then mobbing the building. We watched it as it happened. And it was absolutely terrifying!
