Subject: OT: Thinking of friends today
Events which change the entire world are fortunately rare.

Today, I find it hard to take the two lost COVID years into account when people ask how long ago I did something. In the same context, the loss of friends (as well as the close personal call) of the events on September 11 24 years ago seem much more recent that a generation ago.

May the souls of those who needlessly gave up their lives in the event be at rest. Those events have dramatically impacted the lives of all the surviving billions of humans ever since.
