BUT..... I CANNOT BELIEVE WE DIDN'T HAVE AN IRANIAN GOVERNMENT APPARATUS READY TO GO! Haven't we learned this lesson In Iraq? I thought we did because instead of "de-baathifying" Venezuela, we allowed their Club 401K government officials to remain in power --which is frankly what most 401K'ers care about - their money and power and pensions.

And what really gets me: Ok, let's say we as Americans are usually idiots - we are. But don't the Saudis or Israelis have this covered? I heard the some Palavi dude being a good boy on camera -- maybe he is it?

I'd think that a few Iranians, would put on a tie, visit with culturally stupid American Senators and rattle off the words "human rights' "women's rights", sore themselves a billion dollar budget to steal from and call it a day.
