Subject: Re: So, What Happened to The Dems' Battle for ACA
OK I'm watching the rest at about the 3 or 4 minute point you can see the interviewer's frustration with Jeffries' evasion.

Now she just called him out because he's against a possible compromise--he wants a 3 year extension, some Republicans (they only need 4) seem receptive to a 1 or 2 year extension, but 3 is too much.

The interviewer asks "Why not start off with a 1 or 2 year extension and then go from there?" Jeffries continues to evade and argue with the interviewer.

Interviewer calls Jeffries out saying: "You'd rather have the subsidies expire with the hope the Republicans hang themselves with that" in the next election.

This is all within the first four minutes.

AdrianC I take it you didn't actually watch this video?

No wonder we aren't hearing anything from the Dems about this. This is the same strategy as with the shutdown. They don't want compromise, they want chaos and failure under Trump, then blame the Repubicans in the next election.

Nice.
