bighairymike: You listed thirteen titles that have been banned. You know every damn one of them can be obtained in Florida, some even at the local public library.
Perhaps you should follow the conversation more closely. Dope1 said: "No books were banned in Florida, they were just age-restricted". He was wrong.
And I provided a small list of famous literary titles from the more than 300 books that are banned in one Florida school district, Collier County Public Schools, as an example of some rather questionable choices.
Now you come along and whine about progressives "bending the definition of words to advance their agenda" and bend the definition of banning: "well, it ain't banned if you can go buy it somewhere or go to some public library and get it."
Sheesh. Banned is banned.
