Trump wishes Biden "fast and successful recovery" after prostate cancer diagnosis

President Donald Trump wished former President Joe Biden a speedy and successful recovery after he was diagnosed with an “aggressive form” of prostate cancer.

“Melania and I are saddened to hear about Joe Biden’s recent medical diagnosis. We extend our warmest and best wishes to Jill and the family, and we wish Joe a fast and successful recovery,” Trump posted on Truth Social.

The brief statement marks an expression of empathy for Biden, someone Trump has continued to criticize and accuse of cognitive decline, even after he dropped out of the 2024 race against him.

• Donald Trump Jr. reshared a post that read, “Politics aside, we wish him a speedy recovery!” Trump Jr. wrote, “Agreed 100%.”

• Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a close MAGA ally to Trump, wrote on Twitter, “Cancer is truly awful. My Dad passed away in 2021 with cancer. Prays for Joe Biden and his family.”
