Subject: Re: Oklahome opens god school with tax monies
I went from youthful believer to atheist over the course of my 74 years.

By the time my one son came along I had long since given up on religion. My wife and I never talked about religion but it is in the culture and when our son asked about God we gave him the option to choose a church to attend should he desire to. We wanted him to have the option. The only church he attended was the LDS church, mainly because he had a Mormon girlfriend for a time. It didn't take.

Before all that, when he was only 6 years old he told us one day: "I think what happens when you die...I think you just go back to dirt". It gave me a pang of sadness.
