Subject: Re: Medical Procedures in retirement
From reading on TMF, a lot of intercst's posts and on his site, as well as older family members, I knew that Medicare did not cover dental. So I got my limit of dental work done for probably 4 years, with minimal out of pocket costs, via my employee healthcare from work, before retirement happened.
All dental work is out of pocket now, but the routine bi annual visits are costing about the same as the annual premiums paid for dental coverage via employer plan. Costs will go up when anything
other than routine maintenance is needed, of course.
Have no idea on other medical care, been lucky and haven't needed any
(yet, lol,it'll happen), so no experience with that yet.
