Looking over this, a couple of things jump out.
* When it underperforms SPY, it is not by much.
* When it overperforms SPY, it is by quite a bit.
* It is many years between years of substantial outperformance. Therefore this screen might be emotionally hard to stick with; a lot of work with only a rare jackpot.

Can somebody figure out how to backtest this with GTR1?

I also wonder how this screen would do using the Russell 1000 instead of VL 1500.
