Didn't watch the debate. No interest. I would vote for a rabid badger before I voted for Trump. So I'm blissfully unaware of the "debate performance", nor do I plan to go back and watch it. Rabid badger. Flashlight. Herbert Hoover (whom is dead). Anyone but the convicted felon Trump. He (and Project 2025) will end our democracy. That trumps (no pun intended) all other considerations.
