Subject: Re: brk, our cash, staying VERY short,
Avian flu has now species jumped to a cat and a human (fatal) it is mutating and its fatality rate is almost 50%.

The CDC's website "H5 Bird Flu: Current Situation" reports "68 Confirmed Total Reported Human Cases in the United States" and "1 Death Associated with H5N1 Bird Flu Infection in the United States." That would be a fatality rate of less than 1.5% based on a very small sample size. It also reports "Person-to-person spread: None" and "Current public health risk: Low." https://www.cdc.gov/bird-flu/s....

hummingbird, is there different or more recent data that's driving your concerns?
