I remember a temporary suspension, or I thought it was temporary. Maybe he just got fed-up.

I liked talking photography with him, but as I recall he had some pretty harsh political ideas. But he wouldn't have been suspended for those, as long as he expressed them politely. I know one poster was banned for a racist rant (anti-semitic?). Won't name names.

At least he can still use a computer. 1poormom, when we committed her to a "retirement home" had already forgotten how to use a computer. Initially I thought she was just confused by it, but then I realized she had forgotten how to type (e.g. she had a capital letter in her password, but she was pressing "s" and the letter instead of "shift" and the letter). When we moved her to independent living, I had to keep her computer. It just would have been clutter, and possibly a source of frustration. When she went to assisted living, she couldn't turn on her TV. We kept that also when she moved to memory care.

Whatever disagreements we may have had politically, I hope he's not going down that path. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Well, with a very few exceptions (like Kim Jong Un or Putin).
