The editor of Christianity Today is warning that evangelical Christianity is moving too far to the right,
to the point that even Jesus's teachings are considered "liberal" and "weak" now.

Decades ago someone (Stewart Brand maybe?) said that Christianity was a 'slave religion'. It arose from people under the thumb of an Imperial Rome. For two millennia it has been used by the powerful to control the masses. As has been the purpose of most religions.

At least New Testament Christianity had much that was hopeful and positive to offer. Now it is being turned again into a tool of the ruling class to control the weak minded, the MAGAs, the QAnoner's, etc.
