Annoying data entry problem this causes, and especially because they never had this problem before. Stupid coding/QA miss.

Former HW/SW Test Director here. This is especially a stupid QA miss. Stuff happens in coding and in hardware, even silly stuff like this. QA is especially supposed to find that silly stuff.
