the release had 3 goals, which were executed w/out complete competence, but drives future action\inaction :

- protect anything really damaging to trump under the pretense justice is being pursued
- protect anything really damaging against trump's enemies to maintain case integrity\extortion
- leak some names and info regarding the victims, so they themselves become cautious about agitating for further information

trump is really annoyed that out of all the brutal entertainment he has provided for MAGA via taxpayer money, they still cling to this.
as putin waits out global interest in ukraine, trump is waiting out his fanbase interest in this one.
