But - it's curious how in totally different eras, by totally different people-s one group keeps having to endure all that shit.

Me? If it kept happening to me? At every workplace, every school, every spouse, every friend, over and over and over?

I'd wonder if it's time to change my aftershave......

Because I'd realize that people don't just wake up and say "let's see, today, did I make ham and eggs, or do I exterminate a whole group of people"
