On Sunday Mornings in the tiny Utah town where I was living in 1981 the only thing I could get on the AM radio was some whacko preacher who would literally scream "Our God is a God of war!" He was old testament all the way. Christ did not enter into his preaching at all.

I heard someone say they didn't like Christianity because it was a 'slave religion'.
