I enjoyed a romp in trade schools. My prof said I was the first person to take his fiberglass class for fun. I was going to take the automotive class, but they require I use up my summer weekends in trade school. I spent my summer weekends sailing as I discovered many pretty girls thought that was a good diversion. :) We do need to prep people who like to work with their hands, but we have to be competitive at the tech level, even if we have to import.
