I read this a couple of days ago. For the first time this century, the number of children under 5 dying went up. Gates attributes it to less support from wealthy countries. At least some of that (most?) would be from the killing of USAid.

But in 2025, they went up for the first time this century, from 4.6 million in 2024 to 4.8 million in 2025...
