Employers added 339,000 jobs in May, the 29th straight month of strong job growth, far-exceeding expectations. The March and April jobs numbers were revised upward by nearly 100,000.
That's 1.5 million new jobs since January 1 of this year.
Overall wage growth is rising faster than it has in years, especially for earners on the lowest end of the wage scale. Meanwhile, the Black unemployment rate fell to the lowest rate on record in April.
In total, Biden has added 13.6 million jobs since January 2021.
