Who is telling the truth? Probably not Hawley.

Hawley is extremely fond of anecdotes about the horrible things all the immigrants are doing. It's almost like he's cynically trying to appeal to peoples' sense of outrage in order to get them to ignore the facts (immigrants commit less crime than American citizens). He was on C-SPAN just this morning doing just that in a Senate hearing about the perils of Trump's mass deportation plans.
