Subject: Question on Harris
Why are the Republicans looking to have Biden pushed out of office? Some are saying he should resign; others are looking at the 24th Amendment. Why are they doing this? It seems like a dumb strategy. All it would do is elevate Harris to be President and her soon to be picked running mate as the VP. Why do the GOP want to give Harris the bully pulpit advantages of the Presidency to campaign from? It would allow her to go on TV will the scroll now officially calling her President Harris. She would get to give news conferences were she would be called Madam President.

Why does the GOP want to give voters the chance to see her in that role?

The only upside would be if President Biden resigned and then a month later there was a horrible terrorist attack or such that they could then hope to pin on her, but even that is doubtful because everyday Americans do not think like that (George Bush's ratings skyrocketed after 9/11).
