Quibble. She isn't eligible YET. She is only 34. She'll turn 35 later this year.

I'll bet Trump is also jealous that she is an actual billionaire, not a fake one like him. It's been a few years, but didn't someone analyze his assets closely and estimate he's "only" worth something like $20M (net)? (Still not chump change.)

Having a 20-something daughter, I hear a bit about Taylor. She is rarely political, only endorsing candidates once or twice. But she is all about human rights, which means she's a Democrat. She's also, apparently, wicked-smart. She has a crack legal team, and where she is bound by contract, she gets around it by re-recording her songs on her label. If Trump goes after her, he'll likely regret it. I could see her burying him in lawsuits.

I think the QOP is prepping for a Taylor Swift endorsement of Biden. Though she has never entered the national political arena. They were already losing the youth vote, a Swift endorsement will make it worse for them. I do find it entertaining the contortions they resort to; a contrived relationship with a football player purely for political purposes? And what is really (really!) sad, is that a lot of people will believe it.

Just looked it up...Taylor is worth $1.1B. It also says Trump is worth $2B. The latter seems to be well-supported, so perhaps I was remembering wrong, or the article I was remembering was wrong. It will probably take her a few years to pass him, assuming her popularity does not wane.
