Really? Nothing in the Superman canon involves having a false identity, where an illegal immigrant falsely assumes the persona of another individual in order to pretend that they were born in the United States? Hmmmm....I think you're missing something there....

Clark Kent's entire existence is based on a falsehood. In the current canon, it's the falsehood that he is Martha Kent's natural born child. In prior versions of the canon (yes, I looked it up), it's based on a misrepresentation that he is of terrestrial origin (being an alien disqualifies him from the one potential path of legal status).
