Those burglars don’t follow the law when they rob my house, why should I? I’ll just shoot ‘em myself instead of letting the courts handle it. And I’ll shoot their families, too, as vengeance. That’ll show ‘em.

And that guy speeding recklessly down the highway-I’ll handle that myself, too. I’ll follow him to his destination and slash his tires. That will keep him from speeding.

The shoplifter? I’ll chase her down and give her a good beating in the parking lot to teach her a lesson.
