He personally got a ton of attention for himself. He was also able to put pressure on the Nobel Committee so maybe next year they cave to his craziness.

As for what else that came out of this, Russia and China both took a lot of pleasure at seeing more distrust spread between the U.S. and NATO. It made their lives much easier. I am sure that was part of Trump's intent.
