"JCs" never take accountability for anything that ends badly. They do, however, claim all the credit for anything that turns out well, even if they had nothing to do with it.

This joke is ancient. I remember it circulating around the pump seal company, over 45 years ago. We all know it's true.

The "six phases of a project" have been jocularly described as:

Enthusiasm
Disillusionment
Panic
Search for the guilty
Punishment of the innocent
Praise and honors for the non-participants
