No, it's Reps that aren't serious. Well, most of them. A few were serious and entered into negotiations on a bill that had a chance.

You mean a couple of Reps were suckered into negotiating with the democrats on a bad faith bill that did literally nothing for the border.

But the majority non-serious Reps killed it without even seeing it.

Sorry, this was debated in the public square and everyone serious about border security was rightly horrified by it.
